Mean Creek is a ridiculously talented band — don’t take our word for it, they won the Boston Phoenix’s  “Best Boston Act” two years running. We listened to the poignant and beautiful “Strange Man,” and came up with the concept of an Everyman progressing through life. While the theme is ordinary, we, humbly, think the imagery, production, and execution are anything but. Others obviously agree. The video has earned thousands of plays and many appreciative comments on Youtube and elsewhere.

The awesome, enigmatic “Pine Tree Figure” in the video is the creation of visionary sculptor Joseph Wheelwright.
